Connect Toggl Track to WorkTracker

Your Toggl time entries, imported — they anchor each day in WorkTracker.

What you need

• A Toggl Track account (any plan).

Setup

1. Copy your API token

   Sign in at track.toggl.com, open Profile (your avatar → Profile page) and scroll to the bottom: the API token sits under “API Token”. Click to reveal and copy it.

2. Paste it into WorkTracker

   In WorkTracker open Connections, find the Toggl card, paste the token and save. The token is stored encrypted and never shown again.

3. Sync

   Click “Sync now” (or wait for the background sync). Your recent entries, projects and clients appear on the dashboard; detected work starts matching against them.

What WorkTracker collects

• Your time entries (read) — they anchor each day and deduplicate meeting time.
• Your projects and clients (read) — they become the shared project vocabulary.
• Entries you edit in WorkTracker (write) — a change you make to an imported entry is saved to it; nothing else is written.

The token is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). WorkTracker never creates Toggl entries and never edits one on its own — only a change you make to an imported entry is saved back to it. Credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown again or returned by the API.

Troubleshooting

Entries are missing after the first sync

The first sync starts from a recent cursor. Older history backfills on the following syncs; give it a couple of rounds.
