Connect Notion to WorkTracker
Pages you edit become one work item per page and day.
What you need
- A Notion workspace where you can create an internal integration (or ask an admin).
Setup
Create an integration
Go to notion.so/my-integrations → New integration. Give it read content capability and copy the secret token.
Share your pages with it
Notion integrations only see pages shared with them: open the top-level pages or databases you work in → ⋯ menu → Connections → add your integration.
Fill in the Notion card
In Connections → Notion enter a workspace label and the token. On shared workspaces set your Notion account email so only your own edits are collected.
Sync
Run a sync — edited pages appear as work items.
What WorkTracker collects
- Pages edited in shared areas, one item per page and day.
- Page text is read transiently for the AI summary — never stored.
Tokens are workspace-scoped, so the email filter keeps other people’s edits out of your day. Page text is only read when the AI writes the summary. Credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown again or returned by the API.
Troubleshooting
- No pages appear
- The integration sees nothing until pages are shared with it — share the top-level pages/databases (children inherit access).
