Connect Azure DevOps to WorkTracker

Boards activity and git history from your organizations.

What you need

Setup

  1. Create a personal access token

In Azure DevOps click User settings (top right) → Personal access tokens → New Token. Scopes: Work Items (Read) and Code (Read).

  2. Fill in the Azure DevOps card

In Connections → Azure DevOps enter the organization URL (https://dev.azure.com/yourorg), a label, and the token. If your commit author email differs from your account, set the optional email override.

  3. Sync

Run a sync — board activity and grouped commits appear.

What WorkTracker collects

Read-only scopes; only your own activity is matched and fetched. Credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown again or returned by the API.

Troubleshooting

Connection test fails immediately
A wrong or expired PAT: Azure DevOps answers with a sign-in page (status 203) instead of an API error. Create a fresh token with the two read scopes.
